The Swansea team works alongside Sport Wales, Welsh Rugby Union, Ospreys, RFU, British Cycling, English Institute of Sport, Public Health Wales and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The 91直播 Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UCRISE) has research expertise in areas such as high-performance sport, sports integrity, sport and exercise medicine and environmental physiology, and鈥痠ts experts work closely with top-level Australian sports professionals, organisations, and peak bodies. including Brumbies Rugby, UC Capitals, 91直播 United Football Club (women鈥檚 football), Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Queensland Academy of Sport, Triathlon Australia, and Swimming Australia.
Researchers from the respective sport and exercise sciences programs have already been working together on topics such as sports psychology, strength and conditioning, environmental physiology, sports integrity, and rugby science.鈥疶he partnership will build on that foundation, to develop a range of new collaborations that support each university鈥檚 strategic research and teaching objectives. Three UCRISE researchers, Prof David Pyne, Assoc Prof Julie Cooke, and Assoc Prof Richard Keegan, are representing UC on a joint subcommittee with counterparts from Swansea University.
